Strategic Account Director

We're hiring! We are looking for amazing, talented, experienced individuals passionate about the audio space. Due to the enormous growth potential in our industry, Everything Podcasts is expanding its account development team and seeking to hire highly motivated, results-driven individuals, who can tackle the global market and exceed goals.

Everything Podcasts, a division of Pattison Media, is a podcast production & media agency that helps brands, companies and organizations enter the audio space with compelling and engaging custom podcasts. We are passionate storytellers, world class producers, and award-winning media experts from around the globe. Our knowledge and expertise provides an end-to-end solution for podcasting, distribution, and audience growth.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to Everything Podcasts account base by sourcing new clients through prospecting and referral networks.

  • Follow up on database leads.

  • Manage and proactively sell to brands within various verticals.

  • Pipeline management & forecasting. Provide an accurate forecast of sales results and continuous management of sales activity.

  • Ensure timely/accurate recording, tracking, and reporting of activities and client/competitive information through our CRM.

  • Provide a superior service experience for our clients and build strong and effective relationships, resulting in growth opportunities.

  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to maximize revenue, including product/brand marketing, research, account management, and more.

  • Regularly attend and participate in team meetings.

  • Bring and maintain a strong knowledge of podcasting and the digital media industry.

  • Demonstrate a high-level ability of sourcing and retaining product knowledge, including participating in internal and external training when available.

Required Experience:

  • 3+ years of prior sales experience; ideally in a B2B environment.

  • Demonstrated prospecting experience through cold calling, sourcing opportunities and independent networking channels.

  • Proven track record of reaching sales targets, revenue goals and key account growth.

  • Superior written and verbal communication skills.

  • Strong team player with a “can-do” attitude, entrepreneurial spirit, and passion for excellence; self-starter, self-motivated and independent.

  • Strong interpersonal skills and collaborative attitude.

  • Ability to design, deliver, and execute marketing strategies and presentations.

  • Knowledgeable and savvy with digital and social media platforms.

Preferred Experience:

  • Expertise in the podcast ecosystem and the digital space.

  • Strong existing network of agency/brand contacts and relationships.

Business Development Manager

Everything Podcasts is a world-class podcast production company based in Vancouver, BC. We specialize in helping brands expand their media strategy into the audio space with custom podcast series. Our team combines compelling audio design and engaging storytelling to create docutainment that connects with audiences in a meaningful and memorable way. We offer a turnkey experience, providing end-to-end services for ideation, script development, production, distribution, promotion, and marketing of podcast series.

Primary Responsibilities:

This is a contract role for a Business Development Manager at Everything Podcasts. The Business Development Manager will be responsible for driving revenue growth by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and collaborating with the production team. This is a hybrid role with the flexibility for remote work.

Qualifications:

  •  Proven experience in business development, sales, or account management

  • Strong networking and relationship-building skills

  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities

  • Experience in the podcasting industry or audio production is preferred

  • Knowledge of digital marketing and advertising strategies

  • Self-motivated and target-driven

  • Ability to work independently and remotely

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field
